Kurukulle Empowerment and Puja, 9 & 10 Jan 2018 (Tue & Wed)

This is a 2-day event with the practice of Kurukulle, a semi-wrathful aspect of Tara, a female Buddha in the Vajrayana. As a form of skillful means, the practice of Kurukulle confers the power of magnetizing auspicious and favourable conditions for one's own well being, with the ultimate aim of benefiting all sentient beings.

The 2-day puja will conclude with a fire puja to magnetize both worldly as well as spiritual accomplishments. Through fire pujas, one receives the blessings of longevity, auspiciousness, immense wealth, power, positive conditions, qualities and wisdom for liberation.

There will also be tsok offering during the 2 days Kurukulle puja.

The fire puja and empowerment will be led by Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche.

Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche was born in 1981 and is a lineage holder of the Profound Treasures of Chokgyur Lingpa from the Nyingma School of Early Translations and one of the throne-holders of the Riwoche Taklung Kagyu Lineage. Phakchok Rinpoche’s primary root gurus are Kyabje Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, and late Kyabje Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche.
